Brokerage Services and Advice on Emerging Risks

We provide brokerage services and advice on emerging risks for members as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure Councils have the necessary tools and resources to best serve their communities. This includes dedicated on-call support to answer queries, facilitate risk management requests, connect members with service partners and more.

In addition, since we’re always looking for ways to better protect our members, the broker sends out regular updates on insurance market trends and risk mitigation strategies. Plus, we also provide a report, each year, that outlines our policies, limits of cover and emerging risks — giving you the clearest picture possible to make informed decisions.

How Does It Work?

The Member Services Manager provides new members with a range of information and resources to familiarise them with the Mutual and its services. The Coordinator also serves as a point of contact for any questions or concerns, ensuring that all requests are promptly addressed.

As far as our brokerage services go, members are supported year-round and when protection renewal is due, our broker distributes questionnaires for completion to capture relevant information and update schedules for presentation to insurers.
